Account Manager, Channel Sales & Relationships

About Role

As an Account Manager, Channel Sales & Relationships, you will be responsible for building relationships with existing Shadowbox customers and channel partners to understand customer needs, upsell our customers on additional features and functions of our products and channel partner products, while also managing channel partner relationships to drive channel originated referrals to Shadowbox.  You will meet with existing customers and channel partners on a regular basis, manage customer renewals and act as a liaison between Sales and Customer Success.    You will use your skills and experience to make introductions, set meetings, and other communications designed to educate the potential customers on the Shadowbox value proposition, and features/functions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop meaningful relationships with customers and channel partners to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Follow up on existing customer sales leads to further the sales process
  • Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer
  • Meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership
  • Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
  • Establish new sales leads by partnering with existing customers to understand their needs and upselling features and functions of Shadowbox
  • Deliver sales goals while respecting expense budgets
  • Develop customer loyalty by building strong sustainable relationships
  • Provide regular updates to the Director of Sales on prospects, pipeline, and monthly volume forecasts

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in SaaS preferably in healthcare sales
  • Demonstrated track record of continued progressive sales growth
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Strong relationship-building experience
  • Creative and effective sales skills
  • Experience with SAAS technology, a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams, Slack, and CRM tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High energy level and ability to develop sales rapidly
  • Uncompromising ethics and integrity
  • Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team managing from a home office
