About Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will assist the VP of Sales and Marketing in developing strategic plans for the Shadowbox Channel Partnership and Business Development functions and oversee the execution of those plans. You will build relationships, virtually and in person, with our key partners and develop relationships with like-minded industry leaders and innovators. You will identify, qualify, negotiate, and close contracts with partner organizations that service freestanding imaging centers, diagnostic laboratories, and customers in adjacent healthcare markets. You will be a passionate advocate for Shadowbox and be able to articulate how our technical solutions provide incredible value to our mutual customers. You will help to identify new opportunities to expand into new markets and customer types. You will use your skills and experience to make introductions, set meetings, educate industry leaders on the Shadowbox value proposition, and see these partnership conversations through contracting and executing partnership objectives to our mutual benefit. You will work with our Marketing team to manage communication with partners and prospective partners. You will work cross functionally with other departments such as sales and technical support in a professional and collegial manner.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of the company’s Channel Partnership and Business Development objectives
  • Develop relationships with key partners and prospective partners
  • Drive the relationship with prospective partners from introducing Shadowbox through developing shared objectives including contracting and the execution of the agreement
  • Be the voice of our partners in our internal team conversations
  • Work actively with the Marketing team to develop materials and messaging for partners and prospective partners
  • Represent Shadowbox at tradeshows and in-person events where partners and prospective partners will be present

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in business development, customer success or sales in the healthcare market
  • Startup experience
  • Must be detail oriented, have ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and operate with minimal supervision
  • Strong presentation and project management skills
  • Ability to verbally educate and effectively convey knowledge on product use and process
  • Must be a natural problem solver & critical thinker
